Limelite Development is proud to be the winner of the Master Builders Association’s REX/TREX award for the third year in a row.
The Remodeling Excellence (REX) and Trades Remodeling Excellence (T-REX) Awards celebrate the best of the Association’s remodelers and tradespeople.
Limelite’s winning project was a major remodel of a spectacular home in Leschi. Fully renovated and sold in 2016 as two individual townhomes, this house was originally built in 1891 as a duplex. Previously the house consisted of dark spaces, tiny kitchens, small bedrooms, two bathrooms, drafty windows, and dated house systems – leaving the house unlivable. Limelite incorporated green features such as radiant heat, on-demand tankless water heater, energy efficient windows, recycled materials, and no VOC paints. The open and flexible floor plan is significantly more livable, all while consuming significantly less energy. This project is another fine example of comfortable living in a home that is environmentally friendly, accommodating, and highly sustainable for the future.
For LimeLite Development, each home presents a new set of challenges and opportunities. Remodeling older homes is an excellent opportunity to create a home that enhances the environment as well as the surrounding neighborhood. The benefits of a LimeLite Development home are immediate and long-lasting.
We are grateful to the Master Builders Association for this honor, and vow to continue our commitment to green, sustainable developments and high quality customer service.
